About

Build efficient, secure backend infrastructure supporting identity and city-level data. Develop optimized API systems for real-time coordination and alerts. Contribute to scalable database and authentication systems. Required skills: You must have working proficiency in either Python or Node.js for backend development. You should be able to design and build RESTful APIs with structured request-response handling. Knowledge of authentication systems such as JWT or Firebase and role-based access control is required. You must understand database fundamentals, including schema design and relational database management (PostgreSQL or MySQL). Familiarity with cloud deployment environments and basic Linux server operations is preferred. You should understand secure coding practices and input validation principles. Key Responsibilities Develop REST/GraphQL APIs. Implement secure authentication and authorization. Optimize database queries and indexing. Ensure system reliability and uptime. Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Degree is preferred but skills, ownership, and mindset matter more. Good to have: Experience building APIs in projects. Exposure to cloud deployment. Knowledge of system security basics.
