Job Overview Intel's Government Technology Group is seeking an experienced Foundry Solutions Architect to drive customer engagement and business outcomes aligned with mission requirements. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to accelerate adoption of Intel Foundry Services. Key Responsibilities Partner with customers and Business Development to design tailored Intel Foundry solutions. Support the full sales cycle from engagement through delivery. Provide technical leadership in presentations, demonstrations, and solution design discussions. Develop proposals, reference architectures, and proof‑of‑concept solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams to validate feasibility and optimize designs. Drive competitive positioning, pricing, and contract negotiations. Deliver technical documentation, implementation roadmaps, and risk mitigation plans. Build deep knowledge of Intel Foundry Services, roadmaps, and IP offerings. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and USG/DIB market dynamics. Understand semiconductor supply chain, pricing models, and contract structures. Establish trusted advisor relationships with customer technical stakeholders. Translate customer needs into actionable technical and business solutions. Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities. Support win strategies, competitive positioning, and deal execution. Manage technical sales activities through contract negotiation and close. Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting in CRM systems. Develop technical collateral for U.S. Government and defense markets. Support marketing initiatives and customer success storytelling. Represent Intel at industry events as a technical subject matter expert. Drive initiatives to expand market reach and customer value realization. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: U.S. Citizenship required. Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in semiconductor design, foundry services, technical sales, solutions engineering, business development, or other customer‑facing technical roles. Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, design flows, and foundry business models. Experience with advanced process nodes (7 nm and below), including chiplets and advanced packaging. Experience with EDA tools, PDKs, and modern design methodologies. Preferred qualifications: Postgraduate degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience in semiconductor, silicon, or integrated hardware/software solutions. Experience supporting U.S. Government (USG) or Defense Industrial Base (DIB) environments. Proven ability to support customer engagements, develop solutions, and effectively position technical offerings. Experience with federal contracting and procurement processes. Experience with consultative, solution‑based selling approaches. Experience working with Business Development and sales/marketing organizations. Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions. Experience developing sales collateral and market‑facing materials. Job Details Job Type: Experienced Hire Shift: Shift 1 (United States of America) Primary Location: US, Virginia, Fairfax (alternate: US, Washington, D.C.) Business Group: Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary Range: $142,060 - $279,600 USD (depending on location and experience) Hybrid work model, allowing employees to split time between on‑site and off‑site work.
