What We're Looking For: You will work as an individual contributor, as a member of a software development team or within a specialized DevOps team. On a daily basis you will implement, maintain and monitor all systems required for building software projects, their continuous integration, continuous delivery, configuration management, deployment, backups, disaster recovery, license protections and security. In case of web-based or cloud applications, may also work on assuring the highest possible uptime, load balancing and cost optimization.
Role is required to be onsite in Lincolnshire, IL office (Hybrid- Minimum of 3 days in the office per week).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implements small and/or maintains medium-sized software build configurations using dedicated build systems (e.g. MSBuild, CMake, Ninja build).
Implements small and medium-sized tasks in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of software products and components using dedicated systems (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Implements smaller improvements or extensions for distributable packages and maintains distribution of software components (e.g. with Conan, Artifactory).
Creates basic backup plans and participates in implementing them.
Understands disaster recovery procedures.
Participates in implementation of security measure for software products.
Participates in security assessments, certifications and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, including a range of IT-related subjects
Key Skills and Competencies: strong analytical thinking, attention to details, familiarity version control and build automation systems (e.g. Git with GitHub Actions), basics of IT security
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship Experience: Prior internship experience in software development, infrastructure, or a DevOps-related role.

Pay Range: $68,400.00 - $102,600.00 Annual
Incentive Compensation: In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 5% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
