Project Engineer

The company is a preeminent worldwide supplier of solutions for the application of thin film coatings. Design, R&D, service, and sales organizations are spread across the US, Europe and Asia. 

For the position as  Project Engineer:

• You are in charge of organizing and coordinating multiple projects globally
• You report to the Project Manager
• You monitor the projects closely regarding technical scope, budget, timeline, safety, quality, information, hygiene, and environment
• You create independent project proposals and develop detailed project designs with final specifications, project steps, schedules, costs, and benefits
• You provide all necessary technical and commercial information to ensure optimal preparation and planning for production
• You offer the required support during the start-up phase
• Within the company, you liaise with the Sales, Design, Procurement, R&D and Operations departments
• You are willing to undertake short or extended international travel (more than 30% of your time)

• You have a master's degree in Electromechanics or a comparable qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• You have a solid understanding of MS Office. Familiarity with technical software programs is a plus
• You excel in planning, organizing, and project-based work
• You are dynamic and able to work independently
• You are collaborative
• You are proficient in English and/or Dutch
• You are willing to travel up to 30%
