Associate Account Director, Analytics Our client, an expanding Chicago‑based media agency, is seeking a driven and intellectually curious Associate Account Director of Analytics to join their team. This position follows a hybrid schedule and offers a highly collaborative environment that values balance and flexibility.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic analytics leader embedded within a cross‑functional team responsible for planning and execution. You will develop insight‑driven solutions that demonstrate the impact of media investments, identify growth opportunities, and help shape forward‑thinking marketing strategies. You will also play a key role in promoting the value of media as a driver of business results – both internally and in partnership with clients.
Key Responsibilities Lead Data‑Driven Strategy & Insights
Develop and guide cross‑channel strategies grounded in advanced analytics, forecasting, and performance modeling
Turn complex data into clear, actionable stories that resonate with clients
Evaluate audience data ecosystems and advance the use of first‑party data strategies
Encourage adoption of modern measurement solutions, automation, and marketing technology enhancements
Enhance Campaign Effectiveness
Collaborate with data and technology partners to establish comprehensive measurement frameworks (including attribution, incrementality, conversion tracking, and KPI development)
Analyze campaign performance and recommend data‑backed optimizations supported by sound statistical methodology
Create and expand automated reporting systems and dashboards
Ensure alignment across strategy, activation, and analytics teams to enable seamless sharing of insights
Lead experimentation initiatives and maintain structured test‑and‑learn programs
Qualifications
8+ years of experience within a media agency, with strong exposure to digital analytics and performance measurement
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and communicate strategic recommendations effectively
Deep technical knowledge of analytics tools, tagging/measurement frameworks, data visualization platforms, and attribution methodologies
Track record of driving continuous improvement through testing and optimization
Experience working with external partners and staying current on industry developments
Proven leadership skills, including mentoring and managing junior team members
Strong understanding of performance analytics, campaign measurement, and optimization practices
Technical aptitude with familiarity across platform analytics and data environments
Comfortable working with reporting tools, automation processes, and complex data ecosystems
Naturally inquisitive mindset with an interest in emerging tools, trends, and partnerships
Confident communicator in client‑facing settings, able to present insights and engage in strategic discussions
Collaborative and relationship‑focused, recognizing the importance of trust and teamwork
Self‑directed with strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
Ability to connect media strategy, execution, and analytics through a performance‑focused lens
Experience advancing measurement capabilities, automation, and audience data strategies across multiple clients
SALARY: $165,000 - $180,000
