Experience - Years’ Experience / Year Skills Last Used The candidate must have skill and 5 years combined experience in data analysis and migration/integration for the following database platforms: 1. DB2 for z/OS 2. Oracle 10g and above 3. MS SQL Server 4. Azure SQL Additional Experience: - Years’ Experience / Year Skills Last Used 1. Experience with cleansing and migrating data from legacy platforms to cloud infrastructure 2. Experience with data integration tools including Informatica 3. Experience with data modeling 4. Experience with technical metadata tools including CA Repository and Informatica EDC Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of data analysis 2. Ability to work independently in the technical analysis, evaluation and resolution of large enterprise data integration/migration/conversion issues or problems, with little or no assistance, and to make decisions and recommendations to remediate those issues or problems 3. Knowledge of Relational Database Management principles, design, and practices 4. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments both individually and for the support team 5. Skill in accurately estimating required effort for activities 6. Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS 7. Advanced knowledge of Oracle 10g and higher 8. Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server and Azure SQL 9. Knowledge of data integration and metadata tools including Informatica References – (Must have 3 Professional References!) Scope of Services The candidate in this position will be responsible for assisting in the data analysis, data quality and data integration activities of FDOT’s various data sources. The candidate must be skilled in data analysis of data stored in legacy databases including DB2/zOS, Oracle, and SQL Server platforms. The candidate must be skilled with modern data platforms including Azure SQL. The candidate must be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop data quality and integration processes utilizing modern data integration tools. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team to supports the Department’s data needs. Primary Job Duties/ Tasks This resource will primarily be tasked with performing data integration activities including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Analyze and develop data quality, cleansing, migration, and conversion requirements 2. Plan, design, implement, and support data cleansing, migration, and conversion work efforts 3. Validate data after data cleansing and data conversion efforts 4. Analyze data requirements and develop logical and physical data models 5. Implement database objects in support of approved data models 6. Develop and maintain technical metadata 7. Develop and maintain procedures and documentation 8. Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff 9. This resource may also be required to perform other data analysis or infrastructure activities as requested General Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs): The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: 1.
