One of the most exciting, successful and established engineering organisations located in California (USA) who’re world Leaders in the Aviation & Aerospace Industry are seeking to hire a new Embedded Software Engineer to join the highly innovative team and business due to new pipeline and exciting projects. This Embedded Software Engineering role would be ideal for a Mid-Level to Senior Embedded Software Engineer at least 5 years industry experience.
Salary on offer:
The annual salary on offer for the successful Embedded Software Engineer is $140,000-$185,000 per annum.
Summary of the Embedded Software Engineering Role:
The successful Embedded Software Engineer will be working in a multi-disciplined engineering team and will take responsibility for designing, developing and testing the Embedded Software for the company’s existing, new and future cutting edge technology products for use in spaceborne products.
Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills:
5 industry years professional experience embedded & systems software engineering
Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
Experience in Python Language
Embedded Linux Development
Experience of microcontrollers – ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC or similar systems
Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP
Experience with the AMD/Xilinx family of devices and tools, including Vivado and Vitis software.
Knowledge & experience of FPGA using VHDL, MATLAB – Bonus
Experience designing high-sample-rate communication and/or signal processing systems in embedded devices – Bonus
Knowledge of sampling theory, digital signal processing, and spectral analysis
Version Control Systems – GIT, Mercurial, SVN, JIRA
Industry experience – Space, Aerospace, Defense – Bonus
