Seeking an Associate IT Security Analyst who monitors and advises on information security issues related to the systems and workflow at an agency to ensure the internal IT security controls for an agency are appropriate and operating as intended. Job duties and responsibilities include coordinating and executing IT security related projects for the agency, coordinating response to information security incidents, developing and publishing information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines based on knowledge of best practices and compliance with Commonwealth IT security policies, standards, and guidelines, conducting campus-wide data classification assessment and security audits and managing remediation plans, collaborating with IT management, internal audit, and client to manage security vulnerabilities, creating, managing, and maintaining user security awareness, conducting security research and keeping abreast of the latest security issues, and preparing IT security documentation, including department policies and procedures, agency notifications, web content, and alerts.
