Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products (Swaps / Derivatives)
Hands-on Python coding experience (will be tested live)
Overview
Our banking client is hiring two QA Analysts to support front office trading applications within a financial services environment. This role is highly technical and requires a strong blend of test automation, Python development, and deep domain knowledge in fixed income trading workflows.
You will be working directly with front office users, developers, and QA teams to ensure the stability and accuracy of critical trading systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for front office trading platforms
Validate functionality across systems such as:
Trading platforms
Order management systems (OMS)
Market data feeds
Perform:
Functional testing
Regression testing
Integration testing
Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues
Ensure testing aligns with business workflows and regulatory/compliance requirements
Document test plans, test data, and results for audit and reporting purposes
Collaborate closely with front office stakeholders to prioritize testing needs
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, or similar)
Strong programming/scripting skills in:
Python (required)
Java or JavaScript (nice to have)
Solid understanding of:
Trading workflows
Fixed income instruments (swaps, derivatives)
Market data systems
Experience working in front office environments (trading-facing technology)
Familiarity with:
Agile development methodologies
CI/CD tools and pipelines
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Interview Process will include a 1-hour live coding/technical assessment Ideal Candidate
Has worked directly with front office trading systems
Understands fixed income products deeply (not surface-level)
Is comfortable coding in Python in a live setting
Can bridge the gap between business users and technical teams
