I have a great opportunity if you do not enjoy corporate rigmarole. My client is a mid-size chemical and material distributor serving the rubber, CASE, and industrial segments across the US.
What I need is a territory rep to serve the West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland territory. There are established key accounts everywhere except for Delaware.
This is a break-off/territory shift of the new sales manager's territory. The ideal candidate would have experience in chemical distribution or distribution related to manufacturing. To earn top pay, the former would give you more negotiation power.
Responsibilities
Establish and manage sales accounts relationships in the assigned territory
Identify and pursue new customer acquisition
Conduct cold calls for potential leads
Communicate with established leads within the territory and develop rapport
6-9 Overnights a night will be required, but all car travel
Qualifications
(Min) 5 years of chemical distribution sales
Social and Family life that works well with a sales position
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Technical ability or great sales ability will be valued
High base 110 to 150 DOE and commissions
Company Car or mileage
Retirement is on you; they do not have a match program in place
