About

Senior Software Engineer – DevOps Primary responsibility is to build world‑class platform engineering capabilities for development teams, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and self‑service solutions. Responsibilities Support implementation of the strategic roadmap for technology initiatives within CI/CD pipelines and testing tool automation platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions that enhance employee experience. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate our technology offerings. Support initiatives to enable self‑service capabilities and automation across all supported technology areas. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency through test automation. Build self‑service tools and test platforms to empower employees to improve and maintain software quality and resolve issues independently. Apply test‑driven development practices to ensure automation and platform solutions are designed with quality in mind from the start. Leverage knowledge of different testing types to build a test automation platform that supports running diverse tests and integrates with various testing tools. Qualifications 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining cloud‑native platforms and services using AWS or other cloud providers. Hands‑on experience in test‑driven development (TDD) for automation, writing tests before implementing features. Strong understanding of different testing approaches and how to apply them in end‑to‑end test automation. Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Groovy for automation and customization of CI/CD workflows. Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services including Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, and EKS. Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and AWS CodeDeploy for provisioning and managing CI/CD infrastructure. Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines—Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, AWS Fargate—including cluster setup, configuration, and management is a plus. Experience in automation of provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
