About

Overview Responsible for maintaining and supporting the integrity of enterprise computer systems and applications. Key Responsibilities Administers, installs, and troubleshoots a variety of operating systems and virtualization environments. Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance. Schedules, installs, and tests system software upgrades. Configures software and resolves technical problems. Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Escalation point for IT operational issues related to server infrastructure environments. Uses system orchestration tools and techniques to facilitate automated and consistent configurations, management, testing, deployment, and operations of physical and virtual devices within the network. Identifies and resolves issues by troubleshooting local and cloud infrastructure. Maintains connectivity and virtual connections to public clouds such as Azure and AWS. Works with others to create system strategy and architecture. Communicates with network users as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems and five (5) to ten (10) years of customer-facing support experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in network design and administration. Experience working with WAN and SD-WAN implementation. Experience working with Azure network design and implementation. Experience working with Cisco network equipment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of the following technologies: Windows 10, 11, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022/2025, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Exchange, Microsoft SCCM or Endpoint Management (Intune), Azure Arc, Azure, EntraID, and Azure Automation. Experience with VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization. Proficiency in PowerShell. Knowledge of TCP/IP network design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate task management priorities and issues. Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the ability to learn new technologies. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others. Ability to influence and motivate others.
