Summary IT Hardware Provisioning Specialist (Onsite 5 Days Per Week)
IT Hardware Provisioning Specialist is responsible for receiving, imaging, configuring, tracking, and shipping company IT hardware to end users. This role supports the full device lifecycle within a provisioning or operations center, ensuring accurate inventory management, compliance with asset controls, and timely delivery of equipment to associates.
This is a hands‑on, operations‑focused role requiring strong attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to documented processes.

Responsibilities
Image and configure devices using standard builds, install required software, and perform quality assurance prior to deployment while troubleshooting basic issues.
Maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory records throughout device lifecycle stages including receiving, staging, deployment, and returns.
Package and ship devices to end users and field locations while coordinating tracking and ensuring accurate user and asset assignments.
Process returned devices for re‑imaging, redeployment, or disposition in accordance with asset management standards.
Follow standard operating procedures and update tickets and asset systems while supporting compliance, audit, and reporting requirements.
Identify process gaps and support operational improvements while assisting with projects and surge support as needed.
Qualifications
2–4 years’ experience in relevant field (IT support, help desk, or operations experience preferred).
High school education (Associate degree or technical education preferred).
Ability to use computers and learn new systems and tools.
Basic knowledge of IT hardware including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high volume work.
Ability to follow documented procedures and elevate issues appropriately.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service orientation when supporting end users.
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to lift and handle IT equipment as required.
