Position Overview Part-time paid internship to support daily technical operations at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, Bowling Green. The role accommodates academic schedules and involves maintaining and troubleshooting devices, applications, and enterprise systems for the IT department and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities Manage and troubleshoot desktop and mobile devices to ensure reliable performance. Perform Windows feature updates and support ongoing PC hardware refresh cycles. Generate and analyze statistical reports to support operational needs. Research and analyze technical topics to recommend improvements. Support local IT applications and contribute to project activities. Support and troubleshoot enterprise business systems, including SAP and other internal applications. Work periodically on the manufacturing floor to support production systems and hardware. Follow plant safety requirements while working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Support and troubleshoot Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including platforms such as I/Gear. Participate in production floor support activities, troubleshooting devices and applications directly on the line. Qualifications Currently enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Computer Technology, Computer Science, or MIS degree program. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse workforce. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and a proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
