Field Applications Engineer (FAE) – Bay Area (Mandarin Required) About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a fast-growing semiconductor company expanding its presence in the US. This is an exciting opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in building customer relationships across the San Francisco Bay Area , working with leading tech companies.
This role is ideal for an early-career Electrical Engineer who is looking to transition into a customer-facing engineering role and develop strong commercial and technical skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
Work closely with customer engineering teams to support product integration and troubleshooting
Assist in design-in activities , helping secure new business opportunities
Collaborate with internal Sales and Engineering teams to support customer projects
Develop application notes, block diagrams, and presentations
Gather customer feedback and contribute to product improvement discussions
Help expand relationships with key customers across the Bay Area tech ecosystem
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
2–4 years of experience in hardware, electrical, applications, or product engineering
Exposure to analog, power electronics, or embedded systems (DC-DC, PMIC, etc. is a plus)
Fluent in Mandarin and English (essential for customer interaction)
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Interest in customer-facing or commercial engineering roles
Based in (or willing to relocate to) the San Francisco Bay Area
