Position FTE: Network Engineer (with Programming) – Data & AI Systems

$50–$70/hour

Role Responsibilities
Review real-world data from deployed networks, including logs, configurations, telemetry, and event streams.
Label, classify, and analyze network behaviors, issues, and anomalies to enhance
AI system understanding .
Write scripts and tools to process, clean, and transform network data using
Python
and
Bash .
Define schemas and structure for large-scale
data pipelines
to support
machine learning
operations.
Collaborate closely with the client team to improve data quality and usability for
ML systems .
Qualifications Must-Have
Experience as a
network engineer
with enterprise networks (switches, APs, firewalls, etc.).
Programming or scripting experience
(e.g.,
Python ,
Bash ).
Comfort with interpreting logs, events, and time-series metrics.
Preferred
Experience automating workflows or working with
data pipelines .
Curiosity about how raw infrastructure data becomes
machine learning
input.
