About
Responsibilities We are currently seeking a District Sales Representative who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing existing sales volume. Duties include maintaining a professional relationship with current and prospective customers by meeting with them one on one, utilizing company specialists, vendors, and brokers, sampling products to provide and demonstrate available products, managing account receivables for all customer accounts, and ensuring cash receipts and deposit slips are handled according to company policy. This position will service Indiana communities in and around Lafayette, Indiana.

This Career Opportunity is in Foodservice selling to the Hospitality Industry in and around Lafayette, Indiana. We are looking for an individual who has sold to owners, purchasing directors, and chefs of medium to large businesses. You must have sold against heavy competition and at a higher price, be willing to prospect, and have a track record of being a good closer. You should be creative and a good problem solver. Experience in Foodservice or Hospitality is very helpful. Must have had success selling as a commissioned salesperson in the past.
