Barbaricum is seeking a Systems Administrator/Engineer II to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission‑critical IT infrastructure. This role will support system operations, integration, and performance optimization in complex operational environments.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure.
Support system integration and configuration management activities.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Implement system updates, patches, and security controls.
Support system documentation and configuration management.
Collaborate with network, security, and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
Experience administering enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
Knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, and enterprise IT architecture.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving system performance issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DoD or government IT systems.
Certifications such as Security+, Network+, or similar.
Experience supporting cloud or hybrid environments.
