Job Type : Contract
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Field Support Technician with minimum of 3+ years experience to provide technical support and maintain IT infrastructure at a primary location within a hospital environment, while also supporting associated clinic and administrative sites within the cluster.
The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide exceptional technical support for the site IT infrastructure, IT enabled healthcare equipment and accessories, and associated end user support.
This role requires a strong technical background, ideally within a healthcare environment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, sensitive healthcare location.
Key Responsibilities IT Infrastructure Management & Technical Support
Provide IT support for end user devices, and Smart Hands and Eyes support for IT systems, including, hardware, POS, and software, at the primary hospital location and associated sites.
Address all issues promptly and within SLAs
Respond to IT service requests and troubleshoot problems to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of care.
Provide face to face walk up IT support at designated Tech Bar
Provide IT Support for IMAC and Project IMAC activities. Help with IMAC execution and pre-execution.
Provide support for VIP users if required.
Collaboration and Training
Work closely with healthcare staff to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
Conduct training sessions for staff on the use of IT systems, software, and best practices.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for the installation and configuration of new IT equipment and software.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions for management review.
Project Support
Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, such as system migrations, upgrades, and expansions.
Provide technical expertise and support for the integration of new technologies and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience as an IT Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-technical staff.
Ability to travel to associated cluster sites as needed.
