is seeking a Lead Frontend Developer to support a mission‑critical geospatial program in Chantilly, VA. The developer will be the sole frontend engineer on the team, requiring someone with a strong sense of ownership over the code base.
Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Required Qualifications
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Strong experience with Vue.js in production environments
Proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and component-based UI architecture
Experience with Vuetify or similar UI frameworks
Hands‑on experience with geospatial or mapping libraries such as:
OpenLayers
Turf.js
GeoLib
Geodesy
Ability to work independently as the sole frontend developer on a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with other frameworks such as React or Angular and ability to quickly ramp in Vue
Playwright or other end-to-end testing frameworks
CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
Experience building high‑performance, data‑heavy user interfaces
