Job Description We are in the healthcare industry, located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and are currently offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Network/Systems Administrator. This role involves maintaining and managing our IT infrastructure, focusing on system administration, network administration, and hardware configuration. The successful candidate will be expected to travel to various client sites, ensuring the smooth running of our IT operations.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Fortinet and Windows Server operations effectively
Oversee the implementation of new phone systems, focusing on Grandstream systems
Lead the migration process to Windows11 across the organization
Handle the imaging and configuration of new devices, providing technical support when necessary
Resolve support tickets promptly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
Utilize SCCM for network management where required
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account activity
Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
Maintain accurate customer credit records
Assist with the resolution of customer inquiries
Qualifications
Proficiency in Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
Knowledge of Citrix Technologies
Competency in Database Management
Familiarity with Dell Technologies
Experience in Active Directory
Understanding of Backup Technologies
Ability to work with Computer Hardware
Skills in Configuration Management
Experience in Deployments
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server
Knowledge of Fortinet Firewalls
Experience in handling Support Tickets
Proficiency in System Administration
Experience in Network Administration
Ability to work in a healthcare/NHS environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically
Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends
Flexibility to work in shifts if required
