About
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide security systems and protocols.
Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems in alignment with federal regulations, agency policies, and industry best practices.
Provide expert‑level guidance on security policy development, system hardening, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Operate independently on mission‑critical and high‑visibility initiatives, ensuring security objectives are met without compromising performance.
Serve as a technical leader by mentoring and overseeing junior staff and coordinating the efforts of personnel assigned to specific security initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating complex security requirements into actionable solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
10+ years of hands‑on experience in security roles, or an approved qualifying substitution.
IAT Level II certification compliance (required).
Proven ability to lead security efforts in complex, regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards, risk management frameworks, and enterprise security architectures.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative security team.
U.S. citizenship and a transferable Active U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $122,000–$253,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise. Compensation is determined to align with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
