Project Coordinator

Hiller Measurements is a growing, dynamic, high-tech organization in Dripping Springs/Austin area. Inspired measurement design is what we're about. We've tested gaming systems, simulated atmospheric effects of satellite communications, designed unique parts of our nation's radar systems, and designed test systems for the most exciting electronic vehicles on the road. From our headquarters in the Hill Country southwest of Austin, Texas, we operate on a lean and flexible basis allowing us to adapt to our client's design needs, budget, and schedule.

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator works directly with Program Manager throughout the lifecycle of the project, managing unique task through the different stages of the project. The Project Coordinator is responsible for aligning material requirement through ERP, managing, and communicating engineering changes and assessing impact. The Project Coordinator works closely with the Production team, confirming schedule, material, and documentation readiness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage drawing revision levels to assure alignment with purchasing and production
  • Drive and manage material readiness to support production requirements to meet program schedule
  • Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECN's)
  • Manage program ERP requirements assuring material and documentation readiness
  • Provide support to production to assure schedule adherence
  • Conduct production readiness stand up meetings confirming production schedules
  • Support internal and external customer meetings

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints to draft clear and detailed manufacturing procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
  • Demonstrated team builder and player with ability to work across organizational boundaries
  • Well organized planner who can prioritize and multitask
  • Accountable leader who accepts ownership and responsibility
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction as well as within a team.
Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred: Engineering, Science, or Business
  • Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident (due to company contracts falling under the ITAR).
General Employee Quality Responsibility and Authority

It is the responsibility of all Hiller Measurements employees to perform their duties in compliance with the Hiller Measurements Quality System. Should any employee observe a condition that does not comply with the Quality System, it is the employee's responsibility with full authority to:

  • Initiate action with the assistance of the Hiller Measurements Quality Organization to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system.
  • Identify and record with the assistance of the Hiller Measurements Quality Organization any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions with the assistance of the Hiller Measurements Quality Organization.
  • Assist the Hiller Measurements Quality Organization to verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
