Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team. The Role
As part of our support team, you will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to our client base, helping to resolve issues efficiently while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
You will work across a variety of Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, and business systems, supporting organisations of different sizes and industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support via phone, email, remote access, and onsite visits
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and user-related issues
* Support Windows, macOS, and Windows Server environments
* Administer Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and user management
* Manage devices through Microsoft Intune, including enrolment, compliance policies, and endpoint configuration
* Maintain and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) users, groups, and access controls
* Log, prioritise, and manage incidents and service requests using our IT service management platform
* Assist with infrastructure upgrades, client onboarding, and project delivery
* Support onsite installations of IT equipment and business systems
* Contribute to continuous service improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions
* Provide guidance and training to end users on best practices and security awareness
Skills & ExperienceEssential
* Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, or Helpdesk role
* Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and Microsoft environments
* Experience administering Microsoft 365 services
* Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
* Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
* Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPN technologies
* Experience working with ticketing and ITSM systems
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Desirable
* Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
* Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including MFA, Conditional Access, and endpoint protection
* Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
* Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent certifications
* Exposure to Azure cloud services
