New Opportunity – IT Support Engineer We’re working with a leading global tech organization that is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their in Milwaukee, WI. Overview We are looking for a dedicated and proactive On-Site IT Support Engineer (L2/L3) to provide hands‑on support for local infrastructure, end users, and mission‑critical systems. This role ensures stable IT operations, service continuity, and rapid resolution of complex incidents during the designated support period. Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 IT support for office users and manufacturing shop‑floor systems across multiple plant locations Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office, Fabrication, and Paint Shop floor applications and systems Deliver onsite support for network changes , infrastructure updates, and hardware installations Support and maintain SCCM environments , including imaging, software deployment, and patching Assist with Microsoft Intune configurations , endpoint compliance, and device management Ensure timely vulnerability remediation for shop‑floor machines, workstations, and endpoints Manage hardware lifecycle operations , including device provisioning, shipments, replacements, and returns Configure, manage, and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and peripheral devices Perform patching and system update activities in line with security and operational standards Participate in plant leadership meetings and weekly change management (CAB) calls Maintain accurate service desk documentation , SOPs, and end‑user guides Monitor service performance and adhere to IT operational standards, SLAs, and service objectives Escalate critical incidents to Plant Leadership and the Major Incident Management (MIM) team Coordinate with onsite hardware vendors and service partners to resolve issues and complete deployments Qualifications & Skills Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Office, Fabrication, and Paint Shop floor systems Provide user and system support across Syncreon, CLI, and other plant locations Deliver onsite support for network changes and infrastructure updates Support SCCM environments and assist with Microsoft Intune configurations Ensure timely remediation of security vulnerabilities on shop‑floor machines and workstations Manage hardware lifecycle activities , including device shipments and returns Configure, manage, and troubleshoot printers and scanners Provide L2/L3 support for Windows, macOS, and core infrastructure services Participate in plant leadership meetings and weekly change management calls Support patching and system update activities across environments Adhere to established operational standards, processes, and service level objectives (SLOs) Maintain accurate service desk and end‑user documentation Escalate major incidents to Plant Leadership and the MIM team during service interruptions Coordinate with onsite hardware vendors to resolve issues and complete deployments Why Apply?
