The Job Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst to join our Content Security team. This role will focus on workflow documentation, metrics development/reporting and process improvement to enhance how we protect pre-release content across film and television, and animation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and adept at turning complex workflows into actionable insights and deliverables.
Must work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) out of our Burbank or NYC office.
Workflow Documentation & Analysis
Document end-to-end content lifecycles across various business units (e.g., film production, television, marketing, gaming).
Create detailed workflow diagrams highlighting manual tasks, workarounds, inefficiencies, and risk exposure points.
Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reference materials to align cross-functional teams.
Reporting & Data Analytics
Develop, track, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness of content security initiatives.
Create and manage project trackers, dashboards, and roadmaps to ensure transparency and accountability.
Build data pipelines for consumption with internal or 3rd party resources in support of reporting requirements and automated workflows.
Quantify risks and findings into clear insights and data-driven recommendations for leadership.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Interface with stakeholders at all levels, from team leads to studio executives, to understand workflows and communicate risks.
Design questionnaires, conduct interviews, and lead discovery sessions to gather stakeholder input.
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to align goals and drive security initiatives forward.
Risk Identification & Mitigation
Conduct discovery efforts to evaluate content-handling workflows and identify security risks.
Develop evaluation frameworks (e.g., tiering systems, criteria-based scoring) to prioritize risks and vulnerabilities.
Propose and support implementation of mitigation strategies across workflows and systems.
Qualifications and Essentials
5–7 years of experience in content security, business analysis, project management, consulting, or related fields.
Experience documenting workflows, creating metrics, and managing project deliverables with minimal oversight.
Background in media & entertainment (film, TV, animation) or related industries is strongly preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex findings into clear deliverables.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proven ability to track multiple projects in dynamic environments.
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify key drivers for project and organizational success through rigorous data correlation, regression and hypothesis testing.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
Flexible and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced and evolving environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with workflow and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
Experience using metrics and reporting tools such as Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros), Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or Google Data Studio to build dashboards and performance reports.
Experience with establishing connectivity with structured and unstructured data stores through API or 3rd party connectors and associated data cleansing and preparation activities.
Proficient in data querying (MySQL) and data analysis languages (Python).
Basic AI proficiency, including familiarity with generative AI tools, AI-assisted workflows, and the ability to leverage AI technologies to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and decision-making within the scope of the role.
Advanced degree preferred.
Compensation In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $91,000.00 - $169,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
