What You’ll Be Doing Work closely with senior engineers to learn the tech stack and build high‑definition maps in a scalable way. Build automation algorithms, data pipelines, and visualization tools to improve map‑building quality and efficiency and support new mapping features. Explore new ideas to combine generative AI technologies with our mapping dataset to tackle hard problems in map building, quality assurance, and simulation. Engage with various map data consumers (perception, infrastructure, simulation) in autonomous vehicle and NVIDIA teams. What We Need To See Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related majors. Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, or Java. Previous experience or coursework in robotics, automotive, or artificial intelligence. Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd Experience with cloud pipelines and infrastructure, including Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. Experience in self‑driving cars, deep learning, computer vision, SLAM, sensor fusion, and/or GPU technology. Benefits Hourly rate for interns ranges from 20USD to 71USD, depending on position, location, year in school, degree, and experience. Interns are eligible for intern benefits.
