About
The Network Engineer designs, installs, configures, and sustains data-center network infrastructure — including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks — in support of high-availability mission systems.
Qualifications
Five (5) years of relevant network engineering experience
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Technical Discipline
An additional five (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree, for a total of ten (10) years
IAT II baseline certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP)
Required
Hands-on data-center network design and architecture experience
Installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
IPSEC virtual private network experience
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph (within the last 7 years)
Desired Skills
Experience with high-availability and redundant network designs in classified data-center environments
Familiarity with network automation, monitoring, and segmentation tools
Linux+ or equivalent (RHCSA/RHCE, LPI, LFCS, or Oracle Linux OCP)
