About
Accelint is a mission-driven technology company focused on strengthening national security and supporting critical industries. We build the technologies that help operators and organizations see what’s happening, make faster and better decisions, take action with confidence, and stay ready for what comes next. Our work includes advanced sensors, autonomous systems, mission command and control software, AI-enabled training and simulation, and tools that improve logistics, maintenance, and overall readiness.
For nearly 30 years we have supported military and civilian agencies across the Department of Defense, U.S. allies and partners, and essential industries. When you join Accelint, your work directly contributes to protecting national security and strengthening the systems our society depends on.
Accelint brings together the talents of Hypergiant, Forward Slope, Systems Innovation Engineering, SoarTech, and Highbury Defense Group under one mission, with each entity contributing deep expertise in its domain. This role is part of our Forward Slope (FSI) division, which focuses on C2, engineering, cyber, and international programs. FSI integrates complex systems, transforms geospatial and operational data into clear insights, and supports naval, joint, and allied missions with technical rigor and global perspective.
Accelint is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level III) to build on ongoing modernization efforts for the US Navy with enabling microservices to be rapidly built, tested, fielded, and integrated to container orchestration platforms through heavy use of automation tools and processes. This role is for folks who like being close to the work—building pipelines, automating infrastructure, fixing what slows teams down, and adapting when a program needs something different.
You will help lead a team that is responsible for configuring and maintaining processes that automate software builds and releases. Qualified candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of modern DevOps platforms, tools, and processes including their application to both locally managed deployments and cloud computing platforms, like AWS. Your duties will include software configuration, pipeline development, and software integration with a focus on the integration and delivery phases of software development. Candidates must have strong experience in Kubernetes and Helm.
We work in small-to-mid size, diverse teams with clear ownership of tasking. Engineers are trusted in solving problems and aren’t waiting for permission to execute. Additional supervisory duties are expected at this level.
U.S. Navy warfighters need your help to rapidly deliver cutting edge software solutions to the fleet for planning and executing missions for carrier strike groups conducting operations around the world. Mission planners need to collaborate in order plan for anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, ballistic missile defense, autonomous drone swarm information gain, and a wide range of other mission areas.
