About the Opportunity Our client, a leader in the diagnostics and animal healthcare industry, is looking for a skilled Data Analyst (Intermediate) to join their team through the end of the year. This project involves providing critical database and analytical support for multiple initiatives, projects, and programs, utilizing data-driven insights to support operations and business objectives. This is a high‑impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running, manage data source systems, and communicate complex findings to stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Analytical Support: Providing database and analytical support for multiple initiatives, projects, and programs.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Performing data analyses using appropriate statistical methods and graphical display standards; retrieving and analyzing data to present reports to management.
Dashboarding: Designing, implementing, and delivering reports, measurements, and analyses to support customer‑focused, data‑driven decision‑making.
Data Integrity & Management: Researching data anomalies, identifying data gaps, and working with data source and target systems to recommend solutions.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with requestors to understand their needs and communicating complex analysis results clearly to all levels of the organization.
Process Improvement: Providing recommendations for improvement and developing written documentation related to data analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
Experience with data visualization and dashboarding, with the ability to communicate findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong/advanced knowledge of data management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, LIMS) and data quality management.
Advanced knowledge of statistical methods (e.g., ANOVA, MTBF, Confidence Intervals) and graphical display standards.
Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to implementation.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present information to all levels of the organization.
Strong problem‑solving, multi‑tasking, and prioritization skills.
Nice to have: Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and a basic understanding of machine learning.
Eligibility: W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors).
