Job Description Are you passionate about growth and opportunity? We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our team, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure. We're seeking someone who values teamwork, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to take on both day-to-day operations and escalated Service Desk tickets.
Typical Day/Week
Work closely with the team on various projects and escalated issues.
Configure, support, and maintain servers, networks, and related devices.
Schedule upgrades and offline activities.
Oversee daily operations to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of networks and servers.
Technical Environment Platforms: Microsoft, Office 365
Must-Haves Strong Team Player: Personality is key. You must work well within a team environment.
Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work on projects as part of a team and deliver excellent documentation. Share examples of how you've accomplished team-based projects versus working solo.
Network Administration: Expertise with routers, switches, configurations, and WAN, WLAN, and LAN management.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with O365, VMWare, and Meraki.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Administrator role
Proven expertise in Backup Technologies
Experience with Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN)
Proficiency in WLAN administration
Familiarity with MS Office 365 is essential
Demonstrated capability in Network Administration
Experience in Network Upgrades is highly desirable
Knowledge of Meraki network management
Strong understanding of Network Security measures and protocols
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field would be advantageous
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical team members
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
