About

We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Washington DC. As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our computer network and systems. Your duties will include installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring network performance, providing technical support to users, and ensuring the security of our systems. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in network administration. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure including LAN/WAN. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V. Familiarity with security best practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical support to non‑technical users. Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot network hardware and software. Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation. Provide technical support to users for network‑related issues. Maintain system security by implementing security protocols and performing regular backups. Collaborate with other IT team members on projects or upgrades. Keep up‑to‑date with new technologies in the industry and make recommendations for improvements or updates. Create documentation for procedures, configurations and troubleshooting steps.
