Location Hybrid: work from home and at the White River Junction, VT office approximately four times per year. Candidates should be located within a 2–3 hour drive of the offices.
Pay $80,400 to $108,600 annual salary, commensurate with experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Azure infrastructure management: deploy, configure, and maintain core Azure services including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, load balancers, and resource groups. Ensure high availability and performance across cloud-hosted systems.
Network and firewall administration: maintain the Azure-based network infrastructure, work with the network administrator to monitor and troubleshoot on-premise LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols.
Windows Server administration: oversee management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments—including Active Directory, database administration, and application server support.
Security and access control: assist with security policies including role-based access control, network security groups, Azure Policy, and conditional access. Monitor for vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Monitoring and performance optimization: use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track system health, performance, and usage. Analyze trends and proactively optimize resources to improve cost efficiency and reliability.
Backup and disaster recovery: configure and manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans. Ensure business continuity through regular testing and validation of recovery procedures.
Collaboration and project support: work closely with developers, system administrators, and security teams to support projects. Participate in planning, implementation, and review meetings to align infrastructure with business goals.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
Five or more years of experience in systems administration, with a strong focus on managing and designing Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
Strong expertise in networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and the ability to design and manage secure, high-performance networks.
Prior experience that demonstrates the ability to transition into this role.

Fast-paced support environment. The employee regularly works in an indoor environment with exposure to the sound and temperature of espresso machines as well as cleaning products. Employees may also work around knives, slicers, and other sharp objects. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud depending on specific work site and/or equipment operation as well as customer traffic.
