About
Energy feeds on energy. If you flourish in a fast paced, results‑oriented environment, if you want to achieve individual success within a team first organization, and if you believe you can contribute and succeed in a demanding yet collegial atmosphere, then Lattice may well be just what you’re looking for.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate remote FAE teams within channel partners (Arrow and ATD Macnica, Telsys), enabling them to operate as fully capable Lattice FAEs
Assign and monitor training and certification programs tailored to segment and subregional needs
Regularly review technical support cases per DFAE, escalating and joining customer meetings where progress is insufficient
Serve as the primary interface between channel partner FAEs, Lattice Marketing, R&D, and the Broad Market customer base
Drive design wins across industrial, video, A&D, and emerging segments (drones, humanoids, AI at the edge)
Lead by example in technical engagement, customer handling, problem‑solving, and capable to speak to large audiences in EMEA events
Direct Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop channel FAEs across EMEA, defining goals, KPIs, and individual development plans
Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching to foster a high‑performance, customer‑first culture
Channel Partner FAE Enablement
Own the technical relationship with channel‑partner FAEs across EMEA, serving as their primary Lattice point of contact
Assess individual skill levels, define development roadmaps, and deliver structured training on Lattice products, FPGA design flows, and customer engagement best practices
Drive regular cadence meetings and workshops; track and report FAE activity, skill progression, and design win contribution
Trusted Technical Authority
Act as senior technical advisor for the Broad Market segment across customers, channel FAEs, and internal stakeholders
Represent Lattice at a senior level in customer engagements, industry events, and escalations
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Drive design wins and revenue growth across industrial, video, automotive, A&D, and emerging segments (drones, humanoids, AI at the edge)
Build scalable go‑to‑market strategies with channel partners; track pipeline health, design win progress, and forecasted revenue
Project & Customer Engagement
Support channel FAEs in managing customer projects end‑to‑end, anticipating and mitigating technical and schedule risks, if required with joined visits
Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder discussions across technical and executive audiences; sell on value, not price
FPGA & System Expertise
Guide channel FAEs through complex design trade‑offs, FPGA architectures, tools, and application‑level problem solving
Maintain current knowledge of Lattice’s product roadmap, competitive landscape, and market trends including AI at the edge, security (CRA), and next‑generation system architectures
Cross‑Functional Effectiveness
Drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Support to capture opportunities and resolve customer issues
Operate effectively across EMEA, APAC, and North American business contexts with international partners and stakeholders
Company Values
Deliver consistently on commitments with discipline and quality; take ownership of results and communicate openly to build trust
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in FPGA and/or ASIC design, including experience with VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLD development tools (Radiant, Diamond, Quartus, Vivado, etc.)
10+ years of experience in a customer‑facing FAE or technical leadership role within the semiconductor or related technology industry
Proven track record of managing and developing high‑performing technical teams
Experience designing and delivering technical training programs for internal or partner audiences
Strong understanding of the Broad Market segment and key industry verticals (industrial, video, automotive, A&D)
A good technical understanding of the value proposition of FPGA vs ASSPs (Application Specific Products) and key trends like security and CRA (Cyber Resilience Act) is a must have
A good technical understanding of common IPs like DDR, Gbe, SDI, PCIe, Mipi, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, including for large audiences, and the ability to work with multiple groups and projects
Fluent English and the respective national language; strong multicultural awareness required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel regularly across the EMEA territory
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Prior leadership experience within a semiconductor or technology‑driven organization
In‑depth knowledge of FPGA technology and Broad Market target application segments
Experience working across EMEA in a regional or pan‑European role with channel and distribution partners
Other European languages are a strong plus
Educational background in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications preferred; master’s degree or higher is a plus
Location For the EMEA Broad Market region, candidates ideally reside in Germany, France, Italy, the Iberian Peninsula, or the Benelux region, working in a hybrid environment (primarily from home office with regular customer, partner, and team travel across the territory).
