Job Description We are offering an opportunity for an Applications Architect in Cypress, Texas. This role is focused on the architectural design and development of a SaaS application, ensuring its scalability, security, and performance. The role will also involve the integration of various components using Azure services and ensuring the solution aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and architecture of a SaaS application, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Define the overall technical strategy, including the selection of appropriate Azure services and technologies.
Collaborate with development teams to build and integrate various components of the application using Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL Database.
Implement a microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
Automate deployment and configuration management using CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
Ensure the application meets all security and compliance requirements.
Implement best practices for data protection, identity management, and access control using Azure AD and other security tools.
Monitor and optimize the performance of the application.
Implement solutions for load balancing, caching, and data optimization.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking.
Demonstrable experience in Backend Development, including server‑side languages and database technologies.
Expertise in Cloud Technologies, particularly in designing and deploying applications.
Strong knowledge of Database management, design, and optimization.
Understanding and experience with EO/IR systems.
Experience in AB Testing, particularly in a software development context.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and practices.
Extensive experience in API Development, including RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Proficiency in ASP.NET for building server‑side applications.
Knowledge of AWS Technologies and ability to leverage them in software architecture design.
