About
Role Overview We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support the development of a next-generation digital platform for Healthcare.
You’ll work closely with senior product owners, engineers, operations teams, and clinical stakeholders to help deliver a complex, multi-module platform involving patient management, order workflows, partner integrations, and compliance requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn how real healthcare operations work end-to-end and participate in the build-out of a large, mission-critical system.
Responsibilities Business Analysis
Gather, document, and refine requirements across platform modules (user access, patient workflows, orders, integrations, reporting, notifications).
Interview internal stakeholders to understand operational workflows, gaps, and process needs.
Convert business needs into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams.
Workflow & Process Mapping
Assist in mapping workflows, routing logic, approvals, escalations, and compliance checkpoints.
Help document data flows between internal systems and external integrations.
Project coordination
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and planning sessions.
Maintain accurate Jira tickets and Confluence documentation.
Track project risks, issues, and follow-ups with responsible owners.
Testing & Validation
Support test case creation and execution for new features, workflows, and API integrations.
Assist with UAT preparation and coordination with business stakeholders.
Document defects, verify fixes, and ensure traceability across sprints.
Data & Reporting
Help prepare templates and requirements for analytics and operational reporting.
Support validation of data consistency across environments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
0–4 years of experience in business analysis, healthcare operations, or technical project coordination.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex workflows.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to healthcare workflows (referrals, order management, patient documentation).
Experience with APIs, data mapping, or integration activities.
Basic SQL or computer programming skills (Java, Python).
Understanding of HIPAA and general healthcare compliance standards.
Salary Range US $50,000– 60,000 annual base, depending on experience, plus benefits and potential performance bonus.
The role is structured as a three-month contract-to-hire arrangement, with the possibility of earlier conversion to full-time employment based on demonstrated impact, collaboration, and delivery.
