Plews & Edelmann is seeking a highly analytical and technically driven Business Intelligence & Analytics Analyst to help accelerate our Product Management and market intelligence capabilities. This role serves as a strategic force multiplier by leveraging automation, AI, Power BI, and advanced data analytics to drive smarter business decisions, optimize digital product execution, and improve operational efficiency. This position bridges raw data and executive strategy while helping shape the future of analytics and digital transformation within the automotive aftermarket industry.
Key Responsibilities Automated Market & Competitive Intelligence
Design and maintain automated web scrapers to monitor competitor pricing and market activity across major automotive platforms
Analyze competitor product offerings, interchange data, and application fitment to identify market opportunities
Gather and analyze customer review sentiment using AI-driven tools to generate actionable product and marketing insights
Data Strategy & Platform Execution
Optimize product listings across retail and wholesale platforms to improve visibility and conversion
Ensure complete and accurate product attribute data, including technical specifications and fitment details
Maintain and improve interchange databases across OEM and competitor part numbers
AI Operations & Workflow Automation
Develop and deploy AI agents to automate repetitive or high-volume tasks
Identify workflow bottlenecks and build automated solutions using Power Query, Python, AI tools, and related technologies
Support technical data readiness for future e-commerce growth and marketplace expansion
Visualization & Reporting
Build Power BI dashboards that provide actionable business intelligence and market visibility
Translate complex data into executive-level insights, trends, and strategic recommendations
Qualifications Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel (including Power Query), and SQL
Experience with Python or similar automation/scraping frameworks
Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, and AI-driven workflows/agents
Preferred Experience
Experience with automotive aftermarket data standards and retail marketplaces such as Amazon or Walmart
Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and execute independently
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
