PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a QA Tester to support end-to-end testing of a Jira data migration initiative involving multiple source repositories being normalized, deduplicated, staged, and migrated into a new Jira configuration. Responsible for test planning, data validation, regression testing, and Snowflake archival confirmation.
MANDATORY SKILLS
Strong QA/testing experience in data migration, ETL, or enterprise application migration projects Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and defect investigation Experience writing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and execution reports Experience validating source-to-target mappings and transformation rules Familiarity with data quality testing, count reconciliation, duplicate detection, and referential integrity checks Experience with defect tracking tools, preferably Jira NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
Experience testing Jira migration or Atlassian platform implementations Experience with Snowflake validation and reporting data QA Familiarity with Postman, Python, Excel, Power BI, or data comparison utilities Experience with Agile testing, sprint-based QA, and UAT coordination
