About

Qualifications Bachelor's degree and ten (10)+ years of experience in Information Technology, including a minimum of five (5) years of experience in hands-on C/C++ programming, preferably on POS systems. Basic knowledge of SQL queries is a plus. Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles, demonstrated through prior experience. Ability to interact effectively with users, development teams, and other technical teams. Ability to diagnose and resolve issues/problems in aggressive timeframes. Strong work ethic and ability to handle high-pressure situations with minimal direction. Team player with proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. Responsibilities Provide technical advice on complex programming tasks. Demonstrate expertise in programming using C/C++. Work with POSIX message queues and multithreaded applications. Utilize Unix shell scripting and Perl. Collaborate with relevant users and development managers to define requirements for software releases. Write technical design specifications for software solutions. Debug and troubleshoot both new and existing code. Work closely with QA and Operations teams to ensure smooth rollout of new releases. Provide production support for daily, weekly, and monthly production processes. Assist support and/or project personnel in resolving moderately complex program problems. Work with clients and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within assigned areas of responsibility. Develop test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programs.
