Why Terzo Enterprises? Comprehensive benefits plan Positive, team‑oriented environment 6 paid holidays (after 90 days) Opportunity to build systems from the ground up Direct ownership over architecture and product decisions Ability to make a measurable impact across a rapidly scaling organization
About the Role We are looking for a backend‑first Full‑Stack Engineer to help architect, build, deploy, and scale our internal operational platform.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning systems end‑to‑end — from backend architecture and infrastructure to deployment pipelines, APIs, analytics, and workflow‑driven applications.
While this is a full‑stack position, the primary focus is backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, scalability, security, and system design. The frontend should be viewed as a workflow layer on top of a reliable, scalable backend platform.
You will work closely with leadership, operations teams, and end users to turn real‑world operational problems into production‑grade software systems.
This is a high‑ownership role with significant autonomy and influence over technical direction.
What You Will Do
Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, and TypeScript
Architect and manage secure multi‑tenant data models, RBAC systems, audit logging, and permissions frameworks
Build and maintain full‑stack applications using React and TypeScript
Design and deploy cloud infrastructure in AWS, including production and staging environments
Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, environment management, and infrastructure configuration
Configure authentication systems including SSO and identity management
Build reporting systems, KPI dashboards, analytics pipelines, and operational tooling
Develop AI‑assisted workflows, automation systems, and data processing tools
Improve system performance, reliability, observability, and maintainability
Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate operational needs into scalable software solutions
Support multi‑site deployments and platform rollouts across distributed teams
Required Experience
Strong backend engineering skills with experience designing scalable systems
Experience with PostgreSQL, database design, query optimization, and real‑world operational data
Experience building APIs with authentication, authorization, and RBAC
Strong React + TypeScript experience
Experience building or contributing significantly to products from 0→1
Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS
Experience setting up cloud infrastructure, environments, networking, and deployment pipelines
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD workflows, GitHub Actions, or comparable tooling
Strong understanding of system architecture, security, and maintainability
Comfortable working in ambiguity and making high‑impact technical decisions
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing multi‑tenant SaaS platforms
Experience with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, or VPC configuration
Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with analytics, dashboards, or internal tooling platforms
Familiarity with AI/ML integrations and automation workflows
Experience scaling systems across multiple teams or locations
Startup or high‑growth environment experience
Exposure to operational, logistics, or field‑service environments is a plus
Requirements Must be based in Atlanta, Georgia.
This role includes occasional travel for deployments, planning sessions, and team collaboration.
