About

Senior/Staff Backend Engineer A senior or staff level backend engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our product. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and implement backend services and APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure. Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to define and build new features. Optimize performance and scalability of the backend systems. Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers. Identify technical debt and provide recommendations for improvements. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in backend development. Strong experience with Go, or similar backend languages. Expertise in RESTful APIs. Experience building e‑commerce / payment systems. Proficiency in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Extensive experience using AI agents and AI tools. Reliably able to ship bug‑free code.
