Long Term (1 Year Contract with two 1-Year Extension options) Job Description -Develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans related to mechanical, piping and welding, in accordance with Design Output documents, Codes, and Standards. - Perform field related inspections in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Plans. Document inspection results on applicable inspection records and issue Non- Conformance reports as required. - Review product and process compliance with all specified drawings, specifications, and other requirements through inspection and/or review of supplied materials and equipment Requirements Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 - 7 years of practical experience in construction inspection or related areas. An associate's degree and 7 - 9 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 10 - 14 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent. Certification with continuing technical training is required for performance of inspections and surveillance activities. Prior work experience working under an ASME NQA-1 quality program. Well-developed organizational skills with good communication skills. Preferred Candidates with an AWS CWI or prior SNT-TC-1A VT Level II certification are preferred. Practical field experience in mechanical, piping, and welding quality control within the past 16 months Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred. Listed Professional Hourly Rate Plus: Insurance: Medical + Dental + Vision + Disability 401k: 4% point-for-point contribution match after six months of employment Expense Reimbursement: Expense reimbursement is available for out-of-town candidates. Expenses are reimbursed per U.S. GSA FY 2026 per diem rates for Aiken/Greenville, South Carolina ($178/day)
