A leading manufacturer and distributor of storage solutions, serving multiple sales verticals including commercial, industrial, retail, and government sectors is seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Analyst to join our Miami team. This role is central to how we understand our business — from tracking sales revenue performance across all verticals to analyzing manufacturing costs, pricing models, and operational data flows.
The ideal candidate is an experienced report and dashboard builder who is equally comfortable pulling raw data from complex systems as they are presenting clean, actionable insights to leadership. You will work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations to deliver the data intelligence that drives strategic decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Revenue & Multi-Vertical Analytics
Build and maintain comprehensive sales performance dashboards tracking revenue across all commercial, industrial, retail, and government
Analyze sales trends, pipeline data, win/loss rates, and revenue forecasting across each vertical and sales team
Develop margin and profitability reports by product line, customer segment, region, and sales channel
Support sales leadership with territory performance analysis, quota attainment tracking, and comparative period reporting
Identify revenue trends, outliers, and growth opportunities through ongoing analysis of multi-vertical sales data
Manufacturing, Pricing & Costing Analytics
Analyze manufacturing cost data including raw materials, labor, overhead, and production efficiency metrics
Build and maintain pricing and costing models that reflect current input costs, margins, and market positioning
Track cost variances, production yield rates, and bill-of-materials changes to support accurate product pricing
Develop reports that provide Finance and Operations with real-time visibility into cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) and gross margin by product and vertical
Partner with the manufacturing team to monitor production KPIs, capacity utilization, and throughput analytics
Support product pricing reviews with data-driven analysis of material costs, competitive positioning, and margin targets
System Data Mapping & Data Management
Own and maintain data mapping documentation across including NetSuite, Suite Analytics, and Power BI
Build and maintain data dictionaries, field mapping guides, and data flow diagrams that document how data moves between systems
Identify data integrity issues, inconsistencies, gaps across systems and work with IT and system admins to resolve them
Partner with NetSuite administrators to ensure reporting fields, custom records, and workflows are structured for accurate data capture
Support system migrations, upgrades, and integrations by providing data validation, testing, and mapping support
Design, build, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards and reports for Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Executive leadership
Develop and maintain Suite Analytics Workbooks and saved searches within NetSuite for operational and financial reporting
Create recurring reporting packages including weekly sales summaries, monthly financial close reports, and quarterly operational reviews
Automate manual reporting workflows using Python scripts, scheduled Power BI refreshes, and NetSuite automation
Translate complex datasets and business questions into clear, visually compelling reports accessible to non-technical stakeholders
Maintain a library of standardized report templates, dashboards, and data definitions for use across departments
Requirements
4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role — manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
Expert-level Power BI skills, calculated columns, datamodeling, Power Query (M), and Power BI Service (workspaces, row-level security, scheduled refresh)
Strong SQL skills — ability to write complex queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, and views against large relational databases
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: pivot tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays, and financial modeling
Hands‑on experience with NetSuite ERP — saved searches, Suite Analytics Workbook, custom reports, and data extraction
Demonstrated experience building production‑graded dashboards and reports used daily by business stakeholders
Strong understanding of manufacturing data concepts: BOMs, COGS, cost variances, production efficiency, and inventory valuation
Experience with data mapping, documentation, and working across multiple integrated business systems
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and report reliability
Strong communication skills — able to explain data findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting sales analytics across multiple business verticals or customer segments
Familiarity with pricing and costing models in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Experience with ETL tools or building automated data pipelines
Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300) is a plus
Exposure to additional visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
Experience with NetSuite SuiteScript or SuiteFlow in a reporting context
Background in finance, accounting, or operations analysis a plus
