About

Sr. Systems Administrator IDEALFORCE has a contract position available immediately for a Sr Windows Administrator to join our customer in Phoenix, AZ. Job Description The Senior Systems Administrator Consultant, under direct supervision of the Infrastructure Manager, will be primarily responsible for assisting to manage the entire infrastructure for the agency and work on special technical related projects. Description of duties:
65% of the resources time will be spent on special technical projects. 20% of the resources time will be assisting to manage the entire infrastructure for the agency. 15% of the resources time will include other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Extensive experience in Active Directory Extensive GPO experience Extensive experience with Windows Servers Platform 2008 R2 2012 R2 Extensive experience in MS HyperV Administration Extensive experience with HP Switches Extensive experience with Juniper/Checkpoint firewall Extensive experience with Network Architecture Extensive experience in Supporting LANs Extensive experience in Supporting WANs Extensive experience with DELL Hardware Experience with BES12 Experience in IT Security MS Exchange 2007/2013 Server Anti-Virus Applications (ESET NOD 32) Experience with Watchguard/Barracuda Spam Appliances Policy Based Encryption Client Software (Dell DDP) Experience with SQL Server 2005 and/or 2008/R2 is a plus Experience with project management process The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, & abilities: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MCSE, CCNA 7+ years network infrastructure experience, (LAN, WAN, Frame Relay, Wireless), HP, DELL, CISCO, Juniper hardware Knowledge of Juniper firewalls, HP ProCurve switches, Cisco switches, HP Wireless solutions, SIEM, Symantec Backup Exec, ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition, Solarwinds, Intermapper, SQL 2003/2005/2008, Norstar PBX Excellent working knowledge of Windows 2008/2012, Active Directory, MS Exchange, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SQL Server and related applications Excellent working knowledge of Windows 7, Office 2010, VISIO, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, etc. Skill in network design, procurement, installation and implementation Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships to manage complex integrative projects Skill in problem identification and formulation of alternatives and solutions to maintain operational integrity of the enterprise server Skill in establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, divisional staff, agency program staff, agency senior management, as well as staff and management of other governmental and private sector entities Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to write and/or oversee the development of detailed documents and project plans Ability to take ownership of assigned projects and bring them to completion with minimal oversight Ability to assess impacts of proposed automation projects as it relates to this position's functional responsibilities Ability to rapidly transition work activities from defining "big picture" needs to working on the minuscule details of a concept, problem, and/or project activities Ability to monitor, measure, diagnose and trouble-shoot network problems with the assistance of software/hardware devices specifically designed for this purpose Personal attributes: Keen attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Efficient time management skills Highly self-motivated and directed Strong customer service orientation Strong written and oral communication skills Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience working in a team-oriented, fast paced, collaborative environment Must be able to prioritize projects and problems according to established guidelines Additional Information Additional information: All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
