About
Directs, develops and oversees general safety policy and procedures
Ensures the workplace is in compliance with OSHA and other state, local or industry specific regulations
Manages the Safety and Health function to meet our Safety Policy
Responsible for the promotion of Safety and Health of the Beasley Operation
Ensures Safety Audits are conducted on a weekly basis and provides management with metrics to improve
Participates and/or leads incident investigations for compliance to safety standards
Adapts to operational needs and addresses immediate concerns of the manufacturing environment
Plan and direct safety orientation, skills trainings, emergency plans and job specific safety training
Collects and analyzes safety related data to reduce and prevent workplace accidents and improve overall facility safety record
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require... WORKING CONDITIONS: Moderate Indoor Office Environment Moderate Outdoor/Shop Environment Noisy/Loud Shop Environment REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS: Safety Glasses Steel Toe Shoes Ear Plugs Hard Hat (when needed) Gloves (when needed) Face Shield (when needed) Occasional exposure to heights and confined spaces PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. Your Experience Should Be... Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or similar degree preferred. In lieu of a bachelors degree, additional 2 years of safety experience with an Associates or an additional 4 years of safety experience with no degree and a strong track record of success. Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
