Ultrasound Technologist MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a committed, full-time Ultrasound Technologist to become part of a highly skilled team at a reputable acute-care hospital near Brownwood, Texas! Salary: $61,592 - $85,725 annually Responsibilities of an Ultrasound Technologist:
Patient Preparation: Ensure patients are prepared and positioned properly for ultrasound exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Use of Ultrasound Equipment: Operate ultrasound machines with precision to capture clear, high-quality images of internal organs and structures. Work Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, Thursday to Saturday. Image Review: Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to support accurate diagnosis and assist in treatment planning. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient histories, procedures performed, and diagnostic results. Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and promptly address any technical issues. Patient Communication: Clearly explain procedures to patients, address their concerns, and offer any necessary instructions after the exam. Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program. Experience: At least 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology. Certifications: Must be ARRT or ARDMS certified. Licensure: Texas Medical Board MRT or ARDMS certification required. BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification. Professionalism: Consistently maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive patient information with care and discretion.
