Behavior Consultant Assistant (BCA) – Discrete Services As a Behavior Consultant Assistant (BCA) – Discrete Services, you play a hands-on role in supporting adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities as they work toward meaningful, self-directed lives in their communities. This position provides direct behavioral support to individuals who attend Vista's Community Integration Centers (CICs), participate in employment services, and/or receive discrete behavioral services outside of Vista-operated programs. Working under the guidance of a Behavior Consultant (BC), you help bring Person-Centered Behavior Support Plans (PCBSPs) to life in real-world settings, supporting individuals in pursuing their hopes and dreams related to community integration and employment—including building independence, forming meaningful relationships, and developing new talents that can be applied in purposeful and valued ways. BCAs are skilled coaches and trusted partners who work side-by-side with individuals and their teams every step of the way. Why You'll Love Working in Discrete Services

What You'll Do Direct Support & Skill Development
Provide direct behavioral support under the guidance of a Behavior Consultant Help individuals develop skills in communication, self-advocacy, activities of daily living, socialization, and vocational readiness Teach individuals and their teams ways to apply new skills to navigate real-world expectations for long-term success in the community and workplace Promote active participation in meaningful activities and relationships using Vista's ALIFE COACH and person-centered active support principles Foster success in across community, employment, and day program settings
Implementing Person-Centered Behavior Support Plans
Bring the BC's Person-Centered Behavior Support Plans (PCBSPs) to life through side-by-side coaching and modeling Apply the recommended best practices and ABA principles to reinforce behaviors that promote lasting change and long-term success Collect data on skill acquisition, independence, communication, and progress toward individualized goals Share observations and feedback with the BCs to guide plan refinement
Team Collaboration and Professional Responsibilities
Maintain clear, respectful communication with DSPs, BCs, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members Participate in team and clinical meetings Complete accurate clinical and billing documentation Meet billing targets in collaboration with supervisors Be professional, reliable, and uphold ethical standards in all service settings

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (professional, volunteer, or personal) Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or willingness to learn Ability to implement, model, and coach others in behavioral strategies (training provided) Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel to community-based and employment service locations Completion of required trainings (First Aid/CPR, crisis intervention, etc.) Ability to meet the physical demands of community-based services Pass all required background checks and health clearances
Schedule
Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday – Friday First-shift schedule aligned with client schedule and Adult Services calendar No weekends, no overnights, and no on-call rotation
