About
Support daily jobsite safety activities including job briefings, hazard assessments, and safety observations Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and work with crews and supervisors to implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and client safety requirements Assist with incident, near-miss, and hazard reporting, including documentation and follow-up Reinforce safe work practices related to aerial work, trenching, boring, traffic control, and equipment operation Conduct site inspections and support safety audits across multiple job sites Communicate safety expectations clearly to field crews and support a safety-first culture Assist with safety training efforts and onboarding for new employees
What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a safety-related role, preferred Hands-on experience in telecommunications, utility construction, or related field environments strongly preferred Background as a lineman, groundman, foreman, equipment operator, or similar field role highly desirable Working knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices OSHA 500 or similar instructor-level certification, preferred Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with field teams Willingness to travel to job sites and work in outdoor construction environments
