About
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.
2. Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and ensuring accurate and updated medical records. Communicate patient conditions to physicians and document all relevant information.
3. Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management. Assist with sample medications, referrals, and patient education materials. Ensure proper consents are obtained for invasive procedures and immunizations.
4. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
5. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Education and Experience Required:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
Work Shift: First shift, full-time (40 hours per week) in a regional healthcare setting.
