Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control standards and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces. Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, ensuring they are safe for use. Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with regulations. Follow all infection prevention and safety policies diligently. Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department needs. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Previous related experience is advantageous. Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred. 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
Work Environment: This position operates primarily during the 4th shift in a healthcare facility located in the Midwest region of the United States.
